Overview
To plan, organize, and coordinate all bar and beverage related activities in the lodge. Implementation of policies and procedures as well as taking part of training where required to develop of new drinks, cocktails and beverage related specialty drinks and implementation thereof.

Specific Skills
Education / Professional experience:
- Working knowledge of bar and drink service.
- Demonstrable knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, etc.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office of POS systems.
Responsible For
- Drink service at all guest areas, i.e., pool, bar, boma, restaurant, etc.
- Ensuring a constant presence during all mealtimes and during the day to carry out beverage orders.
- Placing orders twice a week to restock bar/coffee station.
- Consistent cleaning of:
- coffee machine
- bin/ any waste
- fridges
- storeroom
- glasses/shelves (repacking included)
- bar area
- Ensure a continuous stock rotation of drinks and ensure expiry dates are noted at all times.
- Restock fridges to ensure a consistent par level of drinks are kept.
- Set up wines.
- Assist with FOH duties when required / meal services.
- Assist with bush drinks stops when required
- Assist with Check in’s when required
- Ensure an accurate record of daily drinks and adding to POS.
- Ensure bar slips are handed slips to the front office timeously.
